TORONTO, ON – Amsterdam Brewery has announced the 2021 vintage of an eagerly anticipated annual release.
Double Tempest Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout (11.9% abv):
This year’s Double Tempest has aromas of figgy pudding and dried plums that lead into notes of milk chocolate and vanilla as the beer opens up. Sweet dulce de leche balances the warmth of this extra strong beer that was aged in fresh bourbon barrels for 8 months.
Double Tempest 2021 will make its debut at the sold out Calm Before the Storm pre-release party taking place today (November 26th) at the Amsterdam Brewhall, and will be available for general purchase tomorrow (November 27th) at 10:00 AM at both Amsterdam retail stores and the brewery’s online shop.
